AIESEC in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Over the years AIESEC has evolved into something that is spirited with endless energy. AIESEC participants develop a strong understanding of the forces shaping their World and an equally strong desire to act.

AIESEC in Bosnia and Herzegovina exists since 1953, which makes us one of the oldest AIESEC countries in the world. As part of former Yugoslavia, LC Sarajevo was the first LC from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Since than, thousands of students were AIESEC members. One of the things that we are the most proud of is the story of AIESEC in Bosnia and Herzegovina, particularly in Sarajevo, during the war from 1992. to 1995. AIESEC managed to survive, to work under conditions that no man, especially LC could work.

AIESEC Bosnia and Herzegovina gained member status as independent country in 1993.

In the beginning of the 2000's LC Sarajevo became a full member and four years later 2004 - LC Mostar. So, today AIESEC Bosnia and Herzegovina consists of two LCs. We are planing, for the near future, a third LC in our country. We are very proud of the progress we make every year.

Enjoy AIESEC and Bosnia and Herzegovina!
