Welcome to AIESEC Oman

 

AIESEC in Oman was established in August 2007 as an expansion of AIESEC USA through the Salaam Program. Since then we’ve engaged over 400 members and realized 150+ exchanges. We currently have over 80 members from 4 local committees (LCs) in Muscat and Sohar present in the following schools:

-LC Downtown: Higher College of Technology (HCT), Majan University College, and Gulf College
-LC Waha: Sultan Qaboos University, Waljat College, and Middle East College
-LC Bousher: Modern College of Business and Science (MCBS), and College of Banking & Financial Studies (CBFS)
-LC Sohar: Sohar University.

Our membership consists of Local Committees (LCs) and the National Team (aka Member Committee, MC). Every LC has an Executive Body consisting of a President and Vice Presidents for these areas:

-Outgoing Exchange: Recruit, screen, and be responsible for sending students on internships
-Incoming Exchange: Meeting companies/organizations to raise internships, market and screen international talent
-Talent Management: The human resources role ensuring every member has a high quality experience
-Communication: Responsible for internal and external communication, online media

-Conferences: Attend 1-3 day-long conferences to develop your soft skills, learn about AIESEC opportunities, and build a global network.
-Exchange: Experience another culture and expand your horizons
-Developing Yourself: AIESEC is a place where you can make mistakes, fail, and learn before doing it in the real world. AIESEC prepares you for life's challenges beyond higher education.
